Your Place to Land in
Uncertain Times
Therapy That Stays With You

My Place Counseling offers depth-oriented, relational therapy for teens, adults, and couples who want a steady, supportive place to return as life changes. This work is not about being fixed or rushed toward solutions. It’s about having consistent support — a space to reflect, understand yourself more deeply, and grow over time as life unfolds.

Many of our clients are capable, reflective people who feel anxious, unsettled, or quietly unhappy — even when life looks “fine” on the outside. They often find themselves navigating major life transitions, relationship stress, parenting challenges, or internal questions about identity, boundaries, and fulfillment.

We specialize in long-term work that values insight, emotional honesty, and the therapeutic relationship itself. Our clinicians support clients through anxiety, life transitions, boundary work, parenting stress, and relationship concerns with care, flexibility, and respect for the pace of real change. This is therapy for people who want more than strategies alone — who value continuity, depth, and a therapist who stays.

How We Work

Our approach is depth-oriented, relational, and flexible. We believe meaningful change happens through insight, reflection, and a trusting therapeutic relationship over time. Sessions are responsive to what you need in the moment—whether that’s exploring patterns and emotions or building practical tools to manage anxiety and stress—while always keeping the work human, warm, and grounded. Above all, we value patience, empathy, and meeting you where you are.

We draw from evidence-based approaches including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Relational therapy
