About
Breanna Ferolla, LICSW- MA, CT, ME
Mental Health Clinician and Owner
Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right fit matters. My goal is to offer a space that feels steady, honest, and human — a place you can return to as life changes.
Many of my clients come to therapy for anxiety, burnout, or a specific life challenge, but end up staying for years rather than months. They find value in having a consistent therapeutic relationship — someone who knows their history, notices patterns over time, and continues to support them through transitions, growth, and change.
I work with teens and adults who are capable, thoughtful, and often holding a lot. On the outside, life may look “fine,” but inside there’s anxiety, overthinking, difficulty setting boundaries, or a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself.
My style is warm, lighthearted, and direct. We’ll laugh together, figure things out together, and also do meaningful work. I’m not just here to listen — I will challenge you, hold you accountable, and support you in making healthier choices that align with who you want to be. The work we do is always guided by your values and your goals for personal growth.
Together, we explore where anxiety comes from — whether rooted in past experiences or emerging in moments when everything looks perfect on the outside. We focus on building stronger boundaries, improving communication in relationships and work, and developing a deeper understanding of what’s truly contributing to feeling unhappy or unsettled.
I believe resilience isn’t about pushing harder or powering through. It’s about learning how to pause, protect your energy, and live in a way that feels aligned. Therapy with me is an investment in yourself — a supportive, ongoing relationship that grows with you as life unfolds.
A Bit more
I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Penn State University and a Master’s in Social Work from Boston University. My passion for this field began over 15 years ago, when I started working with homeless youth. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to helping people navigate adversity with resilience and compassion.
Over the years, I’ve supported children, teens, adults, and families facing challenges ranging from anxiety and PTSD to mood disorders and life transitions. Early in my career, I worked with families in crisis—often alongside the Department of Children and Families—where I learned how essential it is to approach therapy with empathy and collaboration. Later, I supported teens in therapeutic school settings, deepening my knowledge of executive functioning, IEP development, and strategies to help students manage both emotional and academic pressures.
I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families impacted by trauma, neurodiversity, and identity exploration. My clinical interests have expanded to include supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and helping parents navigate the unique challenges of raising neurodiverse children. My personal connection to neurodiversity within my own family has only strengthened my passion for this work.
Today, in private practice, I bring together these experiences to focus on what I feel most called to: helping people untangle anxiety, build healthier boundaries, and prevent burnout. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and the quieter feeling of being unsettled or unhappy even when life looks “fine” on the outside. I work with teens and adults to strengthen boundaries, improve communication, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Many clients stay with me for years because they value having a consistent therapist who knows their story and supports their growth as life unfolds. I meet clients where they are—with warmth, honesty, and practical strategies—while also challenging them, holding them accountable, and laughing together along the way.
When I’m not in session, you’ll usually find me outside with my husband and two daughters—snowboarding, biking, camping, or chasing our flock of chickens. I also love quieter moments, whether it’s working on a puzzle, running, or escaping into a good romance fantasy novel. Go Sarah J Maas!
